ok guys..i have been looking for a six bolt for my 95 gst that went kaput on me..and i found this engine which is a sixbolt however..it comes out of a 92 eclipse automatic..
he writes "This is an automatic transmission car so of course no crank end play, but it does have the smaller cams, fuel injectors, and turbo; and flex plate. " is this true or is there more...and if so how will this affect my car ..
i have a 5speed GST..with holes in my head due to timingbelt slippeage..
thanks guys..:thumb:

Yep, those are all correct. Plus you will need a new ECU for the automatic transmission, but I have head that if you upgrade the injectors and cam you can still run the manual ecu.

if you can get the motor cheap, go for it. You can buy MT cams, injectors, and turbo for cheap anyways. You should be upgrading those items anyways if you are planning on doing a 6 bolt swap.

  thanks guys...
i was afraid of getting those responses..
so then..would i be able to use the cams from my manual seven bolt..and the injectors from my seven bolt..
iwhy would the ECU be a problem if all im using is basically the engine and all the sensors and stuff will come out of my 5speed GST..
oh..and the flywheel i knew i need one..and the guy said he is asking 750 for the motorwith turbo and all else(not icluding the tranny) but the turbo is shot..(no quick spool) but if he doesnt sell it this week or next he might lower the price to 550..
what do you guys think...:dsm:

MT engine parts can be swapped into the AT engine without much of a hassle. you can find stock parts fairly cheap from DSMers who want to upgrade. injectors are 390cc instead of 450cc and turbo is 13g, not a 14b. you can use a MT ecu, but an AT car cant use a MT ecu. The engine wont know the difference with yours. as for the price, you cant really go wrong. its all in the labor that will kill you.

Ok all you are doing is a 6 bolt swap right?

Ok take the cams out of your 7bolt and put them in your 6bolt.
Ok now buy a 6 bolt flywheel they are cheap matter of fact my buddy has one for sale.

Ok now take the injectors off of your 7bolt its a manual right? So there is 450's.

Which is bigger? T25 or 13g I'm not sure.

Ok now take the manual tranny from your 7bolt and put it on the 6 bolt there you go a 6 bolt swap.....

hey guys.... thanks for all the help.
the guy who owns the automatic engine backed out and didnt sell me the engine..he decided to fix his car.
However just today i bought a 6bolt engine off a 90 talon..
thanks thanks so much guys..and buy the way how much is your buddy want for his flywheel cause my engine didnt come with the flywheel
