Wold I benefit by porting the head to mach the gasket with the stock cams and valves. I was thinking about doing it since I have to replace the head gasket. I was going to also port the intake manifold and exhaust manifold to mach the gasket. I think it will help with the back pressure. But don't know if the stock parts will be able to handle the increase air flow.

Sure, it'll help if you port it correctly. A sloppy port job can actually decrease power. But assuming you do a nice job, yes it'll help.
