HKS manifold

Anyone running the HKS T4 manifold? Wondering how you routed your wastegate off the manifold?

It runs behind the manifold, between the block and the turbo. I would say most T4 setups get dumped waistgates, no returning to the DP stuff.

yea you're probally right on that one...most are going to have dump tubes...i know mine does...Tial 40m,

The HKS T4 manifold was originally sold as a kit complete with a cast O2 housing that dumped the wastegate gases right back into the exhaust. No dumptube needed at all, just bolt the outlet of the gate to the O2 housing.

What can I say? I got lucky a while ago on Ebay. Complete HKS T4 turbine upgrade kit for Galant VR-4, including T4 manifold, T4 turbo, big HKS gate, cast O2 housing, downpipe to mate said O2 housing to catback, all fittings, hoses, caps, nuts, bolts heat shields, etc, included. $1200.

You could say I was a happy man when I won that auction. I own a piece of history.

Did I mention that everything in the kit except the manifold was brand new, never having been used?
