o2 sensor question

i'm puttin on a test pipe today and i'm worried about the cel. i heard that if i put aluminum foil on the o2 sensor after the cat and plugged the hole i would get no cel? is this true???

That's what I did and I haven't had a cel. I've had a test pipe for almost a year now.

i installed my test pipe yesterday and no cel so far w/o foil. maybe i just got lucky.
