Yeah, so you can get charged over 3 grand for a 10 year old engine, that doesn't even fit in a 1st gen without major work.

I bought one for $1800 from a guy that was going to put it in his 2g and wrecked his car. Its not a bad deal for what you get considering I didn't have a motor at all, and didn't have to cash for a built motor.Hell I even bought it off ebay so check there.

how's not having cash for a built motor any excuse? You could have the "USDM version" of the motor and still have cash left over to mod it more than you would this "JDM" motor you're buying.

Well its a little tough to find a USDM motor when you are stationed in Germany.Its much easier to find one of the JDM ones.And the prices that I was quoted for a built motor were like $5000, and that is a bit much out of a Seinor Airmans pay grade.When I could get a runnig motor with everything for $2040 including shipping.Make any sense?
