i built a bc all im missing is the vent hole my problem is it dosnt work it just boost out to about 25psi my gauge only runs to 20 but it boost over about 5 mabey more why would it do this

how do u know your boosting 25 when your gauge only reads 20

turn down the boost

I would assume that he has already attempted to "turn down the boost"
You may need a different spring in there.. The one that you've currently got could have too great of a tension, and its not compressing enough to get the ball bearing "in" far enough..

I had a hard time finding the right spring. What I did was cut the spring about a ½ coil at a time until I got a good range out of it.
