After installing a 2.5" Mandrel bent DP, 2.5" TP and 2.5" Mandrel bent catback I have boost creep. In first gear it's next to nothing, second gear a couple of pounds and third it climb's about 3 pounds of boost. Never went into fourth to see what would happen since I figured it would even be worse.

Now here's a complete list of mods:

91 GSX - 13-14 lbs. K&N, ported 14B, Buschur Racing Mandrel Bent UICP, MBC, Hacked 1G MAS, Ported stock o2 housing, ported passages to Wastegate, and now a 2.5" Mandrel bent DP, 2.5" TP and 2.5" Mandrel bent catback.

No, I don't want to restrict my exhaust by installing a high flow (or stock) cat. People suggested that a 95+ ported O2 housing might eliminate my problem since I don't have severe boost creep. Will they bolt on 1st Gen's? Direct Swap?

Any other suggestions are welcome.

Well, creep comes from the inability to dispose of "waste". Hence, you need to move the waste out faster and more of it. You have a few options.

I don't think that the 2g o2 sensor housing will completely eliminate it. I'm sure it will help, but when you start to do more modifications, you'll likely to run into this problem again.

A common solution is to port the wastegate chamber as well as getting an o2 dump. Pretty inexpensive and makes a difference. Another option is using an external wastegate. More pricey that the other option, but works well and looks so purdy.

HTH. Correct me if I'm wrong here guys.

Now, can you tell me what all I need to do this? Obviously a different O2 housing, but what else? Any other mods need to be done to anything to solve my problem?

And does a 2G O2 housing bolt onto a 1st Gen?

i dunno man, i had full 3ich exhaust system from 02 back with no cat. with 14b. had creep till i ported my manifold, turbine housine inlet and outlets, and 02 housing inlet and outlets. did it all my self with a air die grinder and carbied bit from snap on dude. then had no creep at 20psi. i think the big part was getting rid of the ring between the manifold and turbine housing and opening that all up nice.

If you run less boost on a large turbo you need a bigger wastegate. I plan to run a big 16G ported w/ a 38.1 mm wastegate b/c I don't want to hit 20psi on my daily driver every day. More boost = less need for a wastegate. Its redundant to do all that wastegate work to only run high boost after that. I have a race 3in exhaust and boost control is pointless. It creeps so bad you can't even tell when the turbo wastegate starts to open.
