2G MAS install without AFC?

when I ran Greddy 660cc injector and a 2 G mas on an 14b with stock intercooler.
it work well without a lot of adjustments at all.

you would need an AFC or HKS AFR to make adjustments.

Why would you upgrade the MAS without upgrading the fuel system and/or controls? I doubt the 2G MAS alone will gain anything unless you are running rich stock.

I hear rumors that a 2G MAS upgrade leans the fuel about 10 - 15 % and installing 550 injectors richens it about 10 - 15%. Try that. If you're just doing the 2G MAS you would need some kind of fuel control although the barometric sensor mod may get you the 10 - 15% you need.

A 2g MAS without an AFC is highly not recommend. I would also recommend not to use the 2g MAS without injectors. I had 550cc injectors on my AFC zero'd out and would get massive amounts of knock. I had to tune with my 550s to about +18 on the 14b. I now have a b16g and have to tune around +26.

i believe the 2g mas will make my car run more rich. but how much richer
No, it will run leaner. A 2G MAS has a larger bybass area and lets in more unmetered air resulting in a leaner mixture.

Knock doesn't always mean lean. It could be rich knock also. I still have knock issues with my 14B and 550s whether I am at -5 or +20. I am still trying to get rid of it after a year of trial and error tuning and a dyno session.
