So I went little too timing-happy on my car. Looks like I have to buy SafeGuard after all to tune my stand alone. How bad did it knock to cause this? I never heard a single ping.

It runs like champ though 175psi compression all across. So I added 2 degrees acros the board and this happens in less then 100 miles of cruising, not even WOT.

Oh and by the way, spark plugs look great. It's this dark coff-ish color. There's no signs of detonation. I'm stumped

So you're worried about the discoloration? Did the motor blow or what?

It looks like he burnt the pistion.

No, motor didn't blow. I took it out to remove balance shafts because belt snapped and took out CAS. I've noticed all 4 pistons are chipped on the intake side and are burned up. If you noticed directly in front of where intake ports are you can see missing chunks but as you move out piston is smooth. Bummer is I don't have cash to get new forged pistons. I think I'll invest into J&S Safeguard first.
