What did you guys do with the egr temp sensor? Just disconnect it? If so, at which point? Will leaving it disconnected throw a CEL on the 1G, or just the 2G?

I have tried the "search" function for an answer but to no avail...

I apologize in advance if this is a repost or a ? that has been beaten to death:(

Thanks for any help

Only CA emissions 1gs have a CE light for the EGR and other emissions crap. Best bet is to swap to a federal ecu if you don't want the CEL if your car is a california model.

Dammit....:( I guess I might as well go looking for an eprom one at that... Are 1G eprom ecus automatically non-Cali ecus or not necessarly???

So basically:

EGR temp sensor on EGR = Cali model:barf:

Thanks Unreal:thumb:
