Hi. To make a long story short, my 97 gst suffered Cranwalk, blown tranny, bunch of small things needed to be replaced, and last it got JackeD ( motor gone, radio, wing )
. After battling with the insurance company for 6 months and talking to attorneys, i decided i was going to fix it my self. Sooo
i decided to go with the evo 3 motor. but after reviewing some of the threads on the evo motor i decided not to go that route. Ok, heres my question. Can you mount a 1989-1993 1g Port & Polish Cylinder Head with stage 1 port and polish to a stock 97 short block? Yes i know a question like this has been answerd before but i couldent find the thread for it. I was thinkin about doing the 6 bolt conversion but i dont wanna change my rebuilt tranny. So Please help me with ANY info you have. My baby is sitting in the garage in need of an engine asap. thanks.

Ive read alot of post by awd92gsx and he explained how to do it. Its not very hard. Almost a "Direct Bolt on". So ill just do that instead but thanks for all you info. Im still gonna use my 1g head and im gonna order the magnus 1G Intake manifold with 60tb.
