Hey guys,
I ordered a Complete Clip JDM GVR4 and I am going to do the Manual Tranny Conversion too.

I have info from vfaq, and a few other locations.

and i have it all figured out, except a few things,

This is the image of a similiar clip, showing the FMIC,
and im curious about the mountin of this FMIC onto my 91 tsi awd.

is this IC better than my stock SMIC?
and is there anyplace, a list of the things you need to do to the JDM engine to get it to function right?
and i am gettin the entire, clip, any feedback will be appreciated.

thanks,
adam

Right, the Japanese FMIC is in the picture, and that is what I am getting,

is it better than stock SMIC

The FMIC is much better than a stock SMIC. It is able to get a much cooler, denser charge. I would look up just how to install a Starion FMIC, they should be about the same size.

pull the intake and throttle body, use your usdm stuff. after that it drops right in.

cause it says cyclone.
and is 220hp
;)
and spools faster

of course,
i read plenty.
the low end increase in tq, is interresting to me,
so yea, i think il use the cyclone

havnt done plenty of reading there buddy, it actually get those runners to open up to flow more air at the high end torque is a different story :(

the cyclone jumps more low and mid power, and less topend.
Is RRE lyin to me?

Lol, you read my , and the first post, I am getting the entire Clip, I am going to have all the electronics. ecu, everything.

im going home now, no more lightnin reponse posts, LOL

ill check later.
thanks guys,
adam

The point is, its a pain in the butt to hook that stuff up and you're not really going to see a great gain or anything. Its a waste of time for most people, that's why more folks don't have it hooked up. My .02.
