dejon vs. injen

This site may earn a commission from merchant affiliate links, including eBay, Amazon, and others.

Neither is better it's looks vs. price.

Injen=expensive looks nice
Dejon=cheap looking but performs well

Later,

the only benefit I see to the Dejon other then price is they have a larger intake.. they sell 3", the injen is meant for the T25 and wont work well with larger turbos becuz of the inlet size

never pay $100 for *just* a filter. see if the k/n comes with the 2nd gen mass air adapter,that maybe what's offsetting the price.

okay cause i was fippin out for a sec there! ne way yo larry checked your site out!! you have a tight car man! i guess i'll get mine to that point someday............ just a question though whats your suspension set up?? i'm thinking bout changing mine (and after only 2 weeks)

I have the dejon U-hackit pipe(the one thats 30$) and it works good. just put it on last night actualy but It fight perfectly, and was simple. plus you can't beat the price. I paid 130$ for my filter when I got it, the extream DIS. Its one of the S&B(simlar to K&N) filters, that has the little cone thing on the top. I spent to much, but I like it.

ya i had seen that dejon one for $30 cant beat that deal but i'm also trying to get my car in show quality and i think the looks and astetics of the injen will improve the engine bay!

The injen intake is straight drop in for a T25 or T28. For anything with a j-pipe off the top you will NEED to install it FROM the turbo TO the filter. After many hours that was the only way we (three of us) could get the thing to fit inside the radius of the j-pipe and still seal. It was a pain, but it works.

the suspension is all listed on my webpage as well.. Koni Yellow Shocks, Ground Control Coilovers, RM Sway Bars, Front/Rear Strut Bars

I have the Injen intake and haven't had any problems with it. I am still running my stock turbo, though.

Also in regards to your question about the BOV, I just bought the Turbo XS H34 and plan to install this weekend. No venting for me either.

I am going INJEN as well...still on stock turbo..and wont go higher then a FP Big T-28 either so it will still be enough for me to run an injen...Hoping to get it this week so I can install it:)

I have a regular conical filter and then the 3inch cast intake pipe which came with my mutt :) .

Later,

i just got my injen intake on last night, the finish was nice and the difference in the sound is cool too. I got it from extreme for 228 shipped

I also have the Dejon "U-hack it" pipe (great term, Spinall4!) and yeah, it works fine. I almost slipped it into the end stock piece too far and covered up where the BCS nipple is, though. But I have an MBC now, so that's no longer a concern.

whats the diffrence between a bov and a racing bypass valve.

Nothing. It's just how TurboXS distinguishes between their "Type H" blow-off valve and their "Type H34", which they call a Racing Bypass Valve. Maybe they also name it differently since it's the only BOV they have that recirculates.

BTW, I just put in my H34 RBV and it's incredible!
