Bottom End

I need to replace the bottom end of my Talon's engine. Does anyone have some suggestions about doing that and making it a little stronger. My Talon is a 96 tsi with 129k on it. It just got rebuilt 2 years ago, when my brother raced a supra up a hill going 130...quite fun at the time. It has a very bad knock in it and a mechanic told me the problem is something wrong with the thrust barrings...if he's not lying to me that is.

Clevite rod bearings
Clevite main bearings
Big rods or Eagle's
and if you realy want it to be alot stronger a new crank shaft would help.. but thats gona make the rebuild alot more $$$

thats all i know to tell yea.. and while your doing that be sure to get a new set of rings on them pistons

(never heard of a ####ing thrust bearing)

theres pin, BB, andone other.. hermmm can't think of it.. but anyway never heard that one before

check the thrust play on the crank for starters.
