Dsm Eclipse Talon Laser Stage3 Eprom Chip

friend of mine bought this to my attention, so i figuired id share this with the class. $89 sure beats 300

This chip comes with ALL of the following 10 STANDARD features...

1. Better Air fuel Ratio calibration,Smoother idle and quicker throttle response,More HP,BETTER MPG!

2.Factory Boost limit is removed allowing an extra 2-5 lbs of boost pressure above 5,000 RPM.

3.Factory rev limiter is raised from 7,500 to 8,000RPM on Generation 1 and 7,800 on Generation 2

4.Factory "Limits" are Removed allowing Go-Fast mods such as aftermarket camshafts,larger Turbos,Larger exhaust systems,up to 11 seconds in the 1/4 Mile!

5.Automaticaly turns the Air Conditioning compressor OFF at full throttle or above 5,000 rpm to protect it from GRENADING. And saving a little hp.

6.Built in "stutterbox" that holds the engine to 6,000 RPM between shifts,POWER SHIFT YOUR DSM WITHOUT LETTING UP ON THE GAS!

7.Five selectable "Stutterbox" Drag Race Launch RPM's 4K 4.5K 5K 5.5K 6K on the Generation 1 2K 2.5K 3K 3.5K 4K on the Generation 2. Easilly selectable by turning on the ignition,Depressing the clutch and tapping the throttle 1-4 times.The Boost gauge will move to any of 5 positions to let you know which RPM you have selected,Start the car and head for the Launch Pad.WAY TOO EASY!

8.Turns the factory "check Engine" light into a 7,000RPM SHIFT LIGHT!

9.On the Generation 1 vehicles it will turn the "always on if theres a problem" Check Engine light to the later "Blink Code" system for diagnosing problems! No more heading to your Dealer to shut off the light.

10.Last but NOT least it turns the factory boost gauge into 5 DIFFERENT gauges! Air/Fuel Ratio,Battery Volts,Knock Sensor,Ignition Timing indicator,Fuel Injector Miliseconds. EASY to select by turning on the key and tapping the throttle 1-4 times,the Boost gauge will move to 5 different positions to tell you which one you have selected!

Just ripped off/stolen TMO chips. The chips cost about a nickel a piece. If people are actually buying this stolen stuff, then the guy is making a killing.

sounds too good to be true, all of those great things for the low low price of only $89.95. The add sounds like a used car salesman to me.

no its real. BUT, todd day worked hard to figure it out so people could rip them off. that sucks. what else sucks is that tmo doesnt answer their emails anymore so screw it. buy the chip. also, jdm, #1 is impossible. the eprom ant reconfigure air fuel ratios. only the other stuff. thats why we have afc's.

maybe its a closed loop burn... im just gussing becasue i really dont know. but the othet stuff seems like a good deal for 89 bucks. i really need the stutter box mod so i can launch this bish

so how can you tell if you have a eprom ecu, with out opening the ecu?

Go to Todd's site; www.technomotive.com. All the instructions are there; the "instructions" in the auction are just a hardcopy of the TMO page as well.

Unless this guy's got Todd's approval though, I'd be inclined to point out to eBay that he's selling pirated software.

dude i ran 13.2@101 with nothing but full 3" o2 eliminator exhaust, 190 fuel pump and old style afc. the reason i was able to do this was mostly because of my tmo stage 3 chip. i was getting low 1.7 60's consistently. i r&r'ed the head and now some small problems are taken care of i WILL run 12's on a mostly stock setup. if you can, get this mod. it is THE best mod ive ever had for a car. period. aint nothing like shifting at 7500 with no fuel cut. love my chip.

I ran 13.3 @ 100 without TMO, and without a SAFC, just a 14b and a 2.5 inch exhaust, and little stuff. Practice makes perfect.

the only way you can run that is with more boost....you cant hit 13.3 on stock boost with just an exhaust, 2.5' at that

Didnt tmo go out of busniess though? I've tried contacting them to send my ecu in to get the all the mods done. yet I never get a reply. Guess I'll just pick up one of these.

yeah but are you at 4200 ft? i would have run a 12.9@104-5, if my math is correct, at sea level.

I bought one of these chips and they were straightforward people to deal with, had good customer service IMO. Now if only my damn car moved right now so i could try the bi*** out hahha tminus 2 weeks and i should be able to post an opinion on it.

I just installed one of these in my car yesterday.
Install was a snap, if you know how to solder good.
Stutter box is nuts! I have it set @ 4500 rpm.
Going to test it out, along with clutch cut later today. I'll let you guys know how it went.

It's the funnest $97.95(total with shipping), I've ever spent!!

A 2.5" exhaust isn't holding you back if you're only in the 13s. It's got a lot left in it....

I am not sure but as far as I, and many others know. TMO is no longer around. So even if it is a pirated chip, so be it. There is no other options out there. When I bougt the TM logger I thought there would be updates and improvmetns in the future. While it is a great product it is lacking for future development now. O well, if I had an e-prom, I'd buy that chip!
