I've been thinking about buying a non-turbo 1997 Eagle Talon for $3,000. He said all that is wrong is it might need a new Harmonic Balancer pully and a tranny adjustment. The serpentine belt kept slipping off of the pully and he tightend it up and said its been ok up till now. Hasn't done it again. The reason it needs an adjustment is b/c he said it doesn't wanna go into 3rd gear and u have to slam it. I was just wondering if this was a good deal and if it could be something major wrong with it...like crankwalk. Or if the belt was slipping off could that mess up the crank?

Well, a NT won't have CW. Ever.

Also, you really need to get whatever is wrong w/the trans and crank pulley fixed or you'll have some pretty bad problems.
