Columbus,
When you hook up a MBC you have 2 lines: one for the wastegate and one to a vacuum sources usually grabbed off the BOV. When you hook up a EBC (at least my HKS EVC-EZ) you have 3 lines. 1 for the wastegate, 1 for a vacuum source(BOV), and 1 that is supposed to be at a pressurized source between the turbo and intercooler. I have seen people post where the best place to tie this in at and I've seen replies that say just to T it of of the BOV with the other line which would not put it before the intercooler. My question is: isn't there a reason they want the reading to come before the intercooler? Is it so it gets a reading with the minimal amount of pressure drop? I ask because I'm changing turbo setups from a 16g where I tapped the J pipe to a new T3/T4 where I just got a new LICP. I can easlily tap the new pipe but wondered if it is really necessary or improves spool up or something.

Thats because your T25 has a nipple tapped on the compressor housing but all the others don't(16g,20g,T3/T4). Thats what I was wondering about.

My bad. Did you request that or do they come that way. If anyone knows the answer to my question though, I'd appreciate it.
