(i hope i picked the right forum...)
My gst currently has 93k on the clock, and im ina position where im not sure if i wanna keep modding or not. I will be going to college in about 5 months, and im thinking i may sell my car, later buying a 1g awd. I love drag racing since i got into dsms but i HATE:mad: FWD...and the idea of being able to hit 12's on stock turbo is soo inviting. SInce a 2g awd will most likely cost too much, and if i get a 1g ill have $$ to mod with. I have about $600 right now, and dunno if i should just keep saving or continue modding. How likely is it that i can find a 1g with < 60k on it? (why does that sound like dreaming?) The problem is, if i sell my car (be4 the miles get too high) then i wont have anything to race when i come home on holiday/ weekends, and im stuck between looks and performance of 2gVS1g...the only 1g i really like is the shop car that was in SCC's USCC...but they are soo easy to go fast with. I would love a 2g AWD and swapping my 16g over, but they just hold value too much for my financial capabilities. Anyone else have a simillar problem? I guess im just looking for opinions. Sorry this is so long.

I say get a 1g AWD. It's not completely impossible to find one with low mileage. However, be prepared to drop some coin. Mine had 59,000 miles and it cost me $4800. In the long run though, you'll probably be happy you got a 1g.

Ive pretty much decided to just finish out my exhaust (N1 Downpipe)..then keep my car for a daily driver for when im home from school. Hopefully next summer i might have enough (5k) to get a 1g AWD. Waiting sucks, but hopefully my education will take the place of my car enthusiasm for awhile..at least until i have the money. Until then its practice practice practice!

if you want a 2G AWD then get it, dont buy a 1g because thats all you can afford, you will regret it no doubt, just save up to buy the thing you want first instead of having to redo it later
