Use the old 14b or not?

I just bought a 14b off dsmtrader recently and the guy i bought it from said there was no shaft play When i got the turbo i moved it back and forth and i moves just a little bit. where are the pics?

You might as well use it for a while until you decide on a bigger upgrade... a little shaft play is allright when there is no oil in the turbo.

Ummm dude? It looks like from the pictures that you have something called lateral shaft play. That's bad. The turbine blades should never move that way. A little play going up to down is one thing, as the shaft will move inside the housing due to the design (A 14b is not a ball-bearing turbo, it's a sleeve type), but lateral play is not a good thing. I would bring it to a good shop and have them check it out.
