I'm hooking up two gauges at the same time. EGT and boost.

What works better, connecting to the dimmer or head lights wire? Also how did you wire up multiple gauges? Wire them in series or parallel?

I'm gonna wire the power for the egt (not the egt light) to the cig lighter I think...

Thanks in advance.

I wired my boost gauge to the dimmer switch, theres directions on the vfaq somehere. I like it cause it dims w/ the rest of the interior lights.

I drew the light power for mine from the lighted ring around the cig lighter. It works well.

The main power was drawn from the actual cig lighter power.

Does it matter if you hook them up in series or parallel? I was thinking of wiring them in series to use less wire...

Will they be to dim in series? What's the voltage of the lighter light ring thing?

How did you guys wire your gauges? I plan on taping power from the cig lighter, also any one know how to run a wire between the dash and the wind shield? I'm gonna hook up a direct wire to my radar tomorrow along with wiring my gauages. thanks
