me and my friends went out last night and raced an rx7 that had called us out the previouse week well it turns out we spanked on the rx7 really bad, he must have been imbarassed because I beat him by at least 3 car lengths and then I raced my friends wrx and he beat me by a bumper because he launched on me but i caught up to him in the end. I could have beat the wrx but I over reved and stayed peeling out, it would have really helped if we had cheaters like we planned on doing. Overall we were happy how the car was running considering that we installed the 16 g turbo ourselves. The wrx was running intake exhaust and 20 pounds of boost and ime not sure what kind of fuel mods if any. The rx7 just had an intake and exhaust and I had an intake 3 inch exhaust, 2.5 inch cat, dual stage boost controller, 96 octane, 16 psi, 16g turbo. It was funny because the guys in the rx7 were really mad and were sure we were using NOS.

you dont have to believe me I really dont care if you do but why would I lie to someone I dont know and will never meet. I know the wrx could have probably took me out by more but he didnt take of as hard as he could have and if you dont know the wrx could be running 20 psi and by the time he redlines he looses a shit load of boost just like the stock second generation t25 turbo. Since the wrx looses boost and it weighs more my top end was faster than his.

how did you over rev and stay peeling out in your AWD?? with him running 20lbs on his stock turbo his car i'm sure was running shitty.. and you with a 16g and 16lbs,you should've kicked his ass by atleast 3 car lengths.. i'm not tryin to say you're lying.. but it just dose'nt add up in my head.

yeah,i was'nt paying attention, but she says her car with the 16g,wich it says she has an AWD,but even with a GST and those mods ,if i was driving i would've ripped that WRX apart.

You must be a damn good driver or have slicks on all the time. A 16g'd fwd with any substantial boost and supporting mods will have next to no traction until 3rd.

its all in your driving style, thats why alot of people think theres something wrong with their car because they have 3k in mods and can't break into the 12s. i really don't like bragging because it causes wars and people think you're lying and sh!t like that, but i could get in their car and most likely run 11s/ 12s.

OOOOOOOOK.

When u said the WRX had a intake, did he have an air intake or an UP PIPE or what? Did he have any kind of fule management or a U-Tech? What all for exhaust did he have and how big, and What octane gas was this Scooby running on while pushing 20psi with out hitting fuel cut.
Was the 7 a third gen? ....You were driving a FWD that night right? What kind of tires on your FWD ...good kill.

damn....what dont you guys understand about gst...front wheel drive where do you get off thinking its all wheel drive....now this is a friend of dsm girl...i know this guy that has the wrx....actually this guy has a dual stage boost controller as well....he has his low boost set at around 18...since he can max out his turbo he is so he's somewhere in the 20's with boost...he has some upgraded fuel lines so that he wont hit fuel cut....the reason we lost to the wrx is because we have no traction intil about 3rd gear...when she took off one tire was only spinning...shes running on kumho supras which arent good for street racing anyway...
the rx-7 is 3rd generation....this guys running with just an intake and exhaust
as far as i know the wrx has a replacement filter a K&N filter....plus most of the reason we caught up was simply because a stock wrx goes from 14 psi to 7 when it redlines...ending its gears slowly....even with psi added he's still gonna lose boost not to mention we added a good 60 horses on tap with our upgrades so all in all...we could of won with some better tires or dropping the psi on the tires

She's FWD, not AWD. It's not hard to spin on a FWD vehicle, know what your talking about before you make yourself look like a retard.

the rx7 is a 94 and yeah i could have beat the wrx but i just stayed peelin out well I asked the driver from the wrx to give me another run but he knew i could have beat him if I had a beter launch because my top end was much faster than his because i caught up to him even though he had jumped ahead of me by like 2 or maybe 3 car lengths. It sucked because usually I would drive my friends gst prity good but ever since we changed the turbo I had hardly had any test runs to get used to the car and lete me tell you it was a totally different car because when the Gst just had intake and exhaust i would take of at about 3000 rpm and it would do really good but now i would say i have to take of at about 4000 because if i take off lower it bogs and if i take of higher than 4000 just like when i raced the wrx it spins to much.

all wheel drive tsi i really agree with you on that it all depends on peoples driving style because my friends car dose really good even on the stock tires, even though we are going to replace them to get beter traction but it dose really well. I own an all wheel drive talon and personally think they are more fun especially when you jump on people at the line. Even a gst can do really well the trick is to find the right spot to lete go of the clutch and the amount of gas you give it.

the thing is i dont exactly know what else the wrx has but all i know is that he is running 20 psi and has intake and exhaust and ime sure he probably has supporting fuel mods but really dont know. I am prity sure he is running 20 psi because people that know the owner say he is and the owner says he dose to because i know him but he wont tell me what else he has in his car just the intake, exhaust, 20 psi.

In her post: he must have been imbarassed because I beat him by at least 3 car lengths

you beat an fd3s with an untuned 16g gst ? fd3s:2700lbs 255hp stock and with the intake and exhaust you can bet its an easy 275.. i'm sorry i just find that hard to believe.. especially since the RX7s get a fair amount of traction.

WRX running 20lbs of boost? I really hope thats not the stock turbo and he was running some racegas cause he's just asking for trouble running that kind of boost on a POS stock turbo. He might want to check his compression in his number 3 cylinder if he is really running that much boost on a stock turbo, cause he might be doing some major damage to his engine. Good kill btw.
