New head, do I need 2 port other parts?

Ok my t-belt broke at idle speed soo im taking my head off and putting on a rebuilt head. The head im really considering is a stage 1 head. Which in this case consist of, 3 angle valve job, mild port and polish. Im wondering what else I need to port to maximize the abilities of this head.
I have a 2g exhaust many, but im not sure if I would need to port that.
Any help would be great.

you want your intake ports to be as large as the head but its not necesary, the exhaust side should be port matched so its not creating a restriction.
