EGR removal on a 2G? and 1Gmotor in 2G?

I am in the process of prepping my 6 bolt block to go in to my 2G. The intake manifold im using has the EGR already removed, can I remove all the emissions crap without getting a CEL like on my 1G. I just want to free up space in my engine bay and eliminate the chance of vacuum leaks. BTW we dont have emissions testing in MI so its not a prob.
Also, I'm installing a 16g at the same time, I dont need an install kit since the 1G lines are the same for this turbo, but i'll need a J pipe right? anything else? also where can i get just a J pipe? Thanks guys

If you remove all the emissions stuff your CEL will come on.

I'm pretty sure you can pick up a J pipe at www.roadraceengineering.com - they've got pretty much everything you'll need.

The CEL will come on if you remove the electrical connectors on the solenoids right? But will it still come on if you only unplug the hoses?

or you can get DSMLINK to take care of that problem.
