Magnus offers a mount for a seccond fule rail on the bottom of the intake manifold. Why dose this kick ass you ask. well seeing as with one big injector it is harder to idle and causes real frustrating tuning problems. but with two small injectors you can control it so that you only use one set at idle and the seccond would kick in when your turbo starts to spool. I have chosen to take the 2 injector per runner idea and all i can say is it is the best thing i have done as far as fule goes. But the key is the magnus intake. because instead of like in other desings wher the injector is in a tb spacer and could pose a atomizing and even distribution problems the fule is mixed properly in each runner like it was ment to be. BTW i use an E11 with the haltech extra injector controler. The reason i posted this is cause I havent realy seen any one do any thing like this and plus i got bored and wanted to post.
 
I dont have any pics yet but i run a 550cc injector. greddy also makes a controler but im not sure exactaly how theirs works. really there isnt much to it. just as long as the seccond set is properly placed so it can atomize properly. also you dont want both running at low rpm. if they are you can hydro lock or have idle problems.
 
Damn, Haltech E11 and all the other goods to make you run a quarter in 10.3xx. That'd put you up there at #9 on the fastest DSM webpage and I'm sure AGP would love to have the publicity. Have you told them you've gone that fast w/ their turbo? And to think they just updated their website to huge ad that shows an L2R breaking into the 10's. Can you believe the nerve? Where are you at out in Colorado, I've got a bunch of buddies out there that would love to see your car.
 
Well as far as my time goes its not exactaly lagit. by buddy used a stop watch and i also used my rev speed meter. i still think i can go faster. so thats why i havent informed the people yet. also im from ft. collins but as of now i am in laramie wyoming attending wyotech.
 
Stop watches aren't exactly accurate when in the hands of a human trying to time a cars 1/4 mile time. Have you run it in any events or had it the track at all?
 
ok i dont hve turbo but 8 550cc injectors seems a little much. what the hell boost are you running to make it so you dont run rich. 550cc injectors are good for a 20g by themselves on a moderate boost level. but 8 550cc injectors seem like bs to me.

what boost are you running,what turbo, what mods do you hve to support this setup. im curious, not being a dick but this seema extreme.
 
Alright, I'm slowly raising the BS flag on this one. You're telling me you have titanium rods and titanium valve springs. That's damn near $3200 right there. Not to mention the other thousands in the turbo, the build-up by Magnus. And you have no 1/4 mile times or events yet you're saying you're the ninth fastest DSM? Please clarify for me. Oh, and gold coat head and pistons? What does that mean?
 
all bs basically. he can have the rods and such but not the gold $h!t. im saying bs too. i can ee the second rail maybe needed with tat sort of power, but with nothing in writing its like saying my n/t has 9000hp. its jut not gonna happen.


id ike to se dyno sheets, spec sheets on what was done. where you bought the parts, and everythin you have in this moor at that to see what is pushing thi kind of power. i may be a n/t guy but i still know a hell f a lot of info on thes turbo motors. i could buil one nmy sleeo ifi had too (jst an expresion because i dont even move when i sleep):laugh: . back it up with some info on parts and spec sheets and ill beielve it

and i know its un belivable but i wanted to have somthing different. that and i built it this winter and i live in colorado so finding a day that i have open and its that is also nice. also gold coat is a ceramic coat from swain
and pc9 is a molly coat for the side skirts. i should have real 1/4 mile times this summer proably late august or aroun there. i still have a few things to do. and i know its alot of money but i got a scalorship so all the money i was saving goes tyward my car also i work for the forestry dividion during the summer an thats 16 thousand a summer fighting fires. i have been to a couple of car shows but nothin to big. but to som it up with school work and sleep i dont have alot of time for the track.here is swains site http://www.swaintech.com/race.html

im gonna appoligize about the bs calling. if you can back it up with 1/4 times in te summer more power to you. id like to see the times. areyou fwd or awd.

in additon, your he man. they coat headers. since pacesetter sux and i nowneed header coating you just hooked me up. for this your the man. the paint nev stick to these headers and i was left answering where to get them coated. these guys are them. tank you for this.
 
if all of this is true you could atleast go get a digital camera and take a picture of your engine bay with you holding a sign that says fu(k you guys.

id pay to see thaty pic. that would be the best pic iveseen yet, i say you do it just to say f- everybody who doubted you. i beleive your serious. i say you do it.
