i unhooked the hose from my b.o.v. to my intake to give my car an atmosphere dump. we plugged the hole on my intake and the car still ran like sh*t.....i lose bost and the car likes to die at idol i dont know whats wrong someone help me .........thanks alot.....blake

The problem is that type of BOV was not designed to do an open dump. Buy a hks ssqv or other bov designed for open dumping.
All the boost is leaking out screwing up the ecu big time.
whats the difference between what you did and the others?,
have no idea.

Most DSMs don't like dumping... due to the maf counting the air that's supposed to be there & the BOV dumping it off. 90% of the people that do this have cars that don't run right... or that would run better if they were venting back into the intake... The other 10% are running VPC or standalone that use MAP sensor instead of MAF & have no problem dumping. Also when the BOV is routed back into the intake it shoots air at the turbo helping it spool faster between shifts. This has been covered a million times on every DSM board...
