A/F ratio...

What is probly a safe but good (far as power goes) air/fuel ratio reading would anything under 11 be to lean? or would 11 be about perfect?

manufactures use 14.x to 1 so if you were to use 11 to1 you would be running pretty rich so I dont know about being good or not.
(the big number is air and the little fuel)

Normally, 11. 5:1 is considered pretty good for pump gas. On race as much as 12.5:1 is OK. I run about 12.2:1 on pump at 20psi.

thx, on the A/F gagues though it only shows the amount of air, how do you know how much fuel is being mixed with it?
