I bought a 16G w/installation kit from turbochargers.com. They should advertise this as RRE's "hacker" installation kit. It's crap, it's basicly a j-pipe and a few washers and bolts... Anyway.

In order to get any kind of warrenty you have to buy a new oil feed line. Fine, done. In order to connect their j-pipe to my existing stock intercooler I have to buy the "C" pipe and the couplings.. fine, a little pissed at this point, but ordered. Now, I ordered the oil line, pipe and coupling from RRE (nice parts might I add) BUT the RRE piping doesn't work with the turboblah.com j-pipe!!

Desisions, desisions. Do I buy a 2" to 2.25" coupling or just say f-it and buy the j-pipe from RRE?

Don't ghettofy it man, just buy the proper fitting RRE pipe and be done. If you don't, every time you think about the install you'll know it's not right. Anything like that on my car bothers the hell out of me and I can't stand it.

so actually what do i need to buy??
i planning to buy 16G turbo and install kit at turbochargers.com for $699
and i know it is a good deal.
so do i need any others parts to bolt it on my stock header and stock SMIC thanks

or you can do it right like the guy said above. I bought the j-pipe with the L pipe and the couplings from rre. I really am happy i spent the extra bucks to have a nice licp kit. Just sell your j-pipe you got from turbochargers.com and buy one from rre. Its simple.

HAHA same here I had to cut the stock lower IC pipe to make it work and dremal the hell out of the J-pipe to make it work. Dont forget to bend the hell out of the oil feed line to make it work. OH fun times:laugh:
