I currently have a small 16g and am beginning my fuel mods. My goal is to run 12's with my 98 GSX. I want to be able to run pump gas. My plan was to use 660cc injectors and an apexi afc2. My question is in regards to what fuel pump I need. I was thinking a 255lph walbro, but I want to be able to use my stock fpr. Can I use a 255 with the stock fpr? Should I go with a high pressure or low pressure pump?

Thanks, Jon

the 255 will over power the stock fpr. if you are going to get a afc then you should get a adjustable fpr

Well, do you think that a 255lph is overkill for my setup? Would a 190lph work? I really don't wanna spend the cash for an adjustable FPR unless I must. I have heard of people using 255's with a stock fpr but I don't know how well it works....

I thought the high pressure just doesnt fall off at high boost (fuel pressure) like the normal 255 would...

the high pressure will overrun your fuel regulator. What happens essentially is when your boosting and your fuel is supposed to rise at a 1:1 ratio the FPR cant do its job and you get to much fuel and the car doesnt run as well as it should.
