taking advantage of the evoVIII front mount

has anybody looked at one up close? i can get these at wholesale if its worth it. im just wondering how efficient it is. looks like the piping wouldnt be that hard to route either.

From my understanding it isn't much better than the starion intercooler. There is a website that compares the EVO FMIC to others, if I can find it I will post it here.

If you are pushing a large turbo you may want to concider making some custom intercooler piping, because on the EVO 8's FMIC, the intercooler pipes decrease in diameter greatly at it's welds. This may be good to maintain pressure using a smaller turbo but may want to be upgraded depending on the application. If you have been under one of these on a lift you will understand.

I doubt the piping would work anyway.

jeez man. i posted some things last night and none of it showed up. anyways, i can get the intercooler for a little over $500. gooberlog, are you talking about the welds on the end tanks or the piping itself?
