intercooler fmic vs smic

I am ready t oupgrade the turbo t28 or 16g.
I was told I would not get the performance I wanted without using a FMIC I was going to uses a larger SMIC (less installation ). but was told they didn't perform as well as they say they do.

Best option is always a FMIC...FMIC>SMIC, but just because I think its the best doesn' t mean its the cheapest either

Dejon's big sidemount will work fine with either of those turbos...less than half the price of a FMIC, no cutting or fabrication either...Just bolt it in and go...As long as your not gonna upgrade past a 28 or 16, u'd be fine boosting with that IC...Prolly up to 20psi...

Not to say that a FMIC isn't better...it is...but cost & usage...Can't go wrong with a big sidemount...

Since I'm not gonna go over 17-18psi and a t-28 is as big as i'm gonna go...the big sidemount is perfect, cost effecient, and effective...

Hell, If you are gona go Sidemout, get a Stock Supra MKIV sidemoount. It will flow 500 CFMS, and is GREAT, and only $100, but you need to fabricate but is a fairly simple job in the greand scheme of things.
