2g block ?

My friend just wrecked his 96 tsi awd talon and he just had a motor put in it. The block only has 8,000 miles on it. I was wondering if it is worth it to buy the car for the block and install it in my 1g?? or would it just be better to build up a 6 bolt block?

Build up the 6 bolt...so you don't have to worry about the famous crankwalk problem...Well 6 bolts can still do it..but not likely like the 2g's so I would build the 6 bolt...
