Heres the deal with my car. Just bought it 2 weeks ago and while the kid was delivering the car, he tells me the wastegate actuator isn't working properly and i am going to need a new turbo. Not a problem cause i have the money and I planned on upgrading to a big 16g. This kid is one of my friends so I talk to him about upgrades and the such. Before I bought the car, he said the upgrade was a good idea, but now that i own the car he tells me the block won't be able to take it. The car has approx. 168k on it, but it has a freshly rebuilt head custom done by turbotrix. My question is does anyone have any advice on if my block will be able to take 15psi from a big 16g w/ a 255 fuel pump and 550 injectors? i really appreciate any advice. thanx.

it will definetly be able to hold it...you've obviously driven the car and it runs alright i presume, 15 psi really isn't much at all, i think you will be just fine!

thank you for your replies, but new question is, how many psi to run? the compression is fine the last it was checked.

Well that all depends on what your supporting mods are. 15psi really is ok for minimal mods, but if you want more boost should be #1! What is your current set up? As long as the motor is ok, you might as well boost till it blows,LOL...

my current setup is walbro 255, UR underdrive pulley, and full 3in exhaust will be on within the week.
