I hit fuel cut couple of times last nite after I got a 3" dp/high flow cat..
it felt like hitting a brickwall OMG after 5.5-6K @15psi (spike to 17psi)..

I tried adjusting the MAS screw and noticed that it was backed out more than my buddy's 97 GST (from factory). I screwed(clockwise) mine in about 2 full turns (to richen?) and lowered the RRE MBC slightly so it won't spike to 17psi which it did before. Than I went to test it out and this time I got NO fuel cut all the way to 7K @steady 15psi..

anyone else mess around with the 2g MAS screw? It was confusing when I noticed mine was set differently than my friend's from factory..

:dsm:

i hacked my 2g mas. no side mesh, screw backed all the way out. all the little tricks.

just remember to put it back if you install a dsmlink.

my trick is to just go slightly slightly above WOT so you fool the tps in to thinking you arent. at WOT the ecu has a stored fuel map that it always uses; it doesnt even look at the o2 voltage to see if you're rich or lean, it just runs its preset thing and cuts on you if you are pushing too much air. if you go a fraction less it uses o2's and finds out hey; the engine is getting enough fuel, might as well not cut off the injector flow.

or something. i dont know, but it seems to work.

i might still back out the screw though.
