Wasn't quite sure where to put this. I ran some Seafoam thru the GSX the other day. Had quite a bit of smoke from the Seafoam boiling up from the collector section of the DNP exhaust manifold. I would guess that would be a pretty decent indication of an exhaust mani leak... The streams of smoke were coming up right from where the tubes meet into the "collector" not from any of the gaskets etc. I'm debating on getting it welded or just replacing it with a FP mani. I have never been impressed with the DNP. I'd have to call it crap but I guess what can you expect for a $550 exhaust mani.

It is definitely leaking if it is smoking after sea foaming the engine. I would expect way better quality than that for a 550 dollar manifold.

wow...actually I would expect a lot more from a $550 exhaust manifold...n they look so pretty.

This section of the mani is welded from the underside... So I guess it wouldn't be hard to get it welded once its off.
But I've never been a fan of this mani. It annoyed me that it's 6cm and can be ported to 7cm because there isn't enough room or material to port it 1cm. Or was it 7 & 8cm? I forget. So it does not smoothly transition from the mani to the turbo. The turbo inlet is 1cm larger. Steel flanges. And it only looks good for a week. Save your money and get a FP or spend. Twice as much and get a real exhaust mani.

Seafoam kinda works well as a boost leak tester
