Im wondering if I have ANY room left in the 255/1000cc set-up at all?
How high have people run this combo up to?
I know both are limiting factors for Big HP but which is the weaker (the pump or the injectors)?
Im asking because I have a wish list of planned upgrades, and like most DSM'rs don't have the time & $$ to do everything at once. Between upgrading the Stock Trans, Adding a JMF Intake Mani, Upgrading Fuel Pump & Injectors, & Adding Meth Injection ...Im trying to prioritize which parts come 1st. Obviously the Transmission upgrade is Top Priority. After that I have another $1k to play with before I need to replenish the Bank Accnt.
Im hoping I can do the Trans upgrade along with installing the JMF Manifold without having to do the fuel system right away. I can always turn the boost down and keep the same power with the SMIM installed but I'd like to keep the same boost and get 560-ish out of it.
Anyone who has experience running a single 255 & 1000cc inj up past 550whp (or not being able to) please chim in & let me know.
