Greddy Small or Large FMIC Question

anyone know how much, if any, room there is between the intercooler and the radiator when the intercooler is mounted?? Please let me know

I dont recall exactly off the top of my head but I want to say with the Large FMIc there was a good 1/2 of clearance.

There is quite a bit of room in my opinion between my big greddy fmic and the radiator. Inch, two inches.

Why do you ask? It's not the room to the radiator you have to worry about, it's cutting up the bumper and 5mph bumper to make it all fit.

Other than cutting up the bumper and the 5mph reinforcement thing, what else did you have to do to fit the large GReddy FMIC? Did you have to move the coolent reservoir or get a smaller A/C fan or remove the A/C fan altogether?!?

To those of you with the GReddy big FMIC, what kinds of upper and lower piping and BOV piping are you using?

I used the full Greddy UICP and LICP to go with the intercooler. I took out the 5mph reinforcement bumper but you could trim it and you have to cut ALOT of your bumper

larryd, so, would my upper/lower GReddy i/c piping kit that's fitted to my factory side-mount work with the piping that comes with the GReddy big FMIC then?

Yes it will...Any IC pipes that come to the stock ic locations will work.

Movement of the coolant resovoir is only necessary when you short-route the pipes through that area. The a/c fans are behind the radiator and aren't effected at all.

You wont have to do either of those things with the Greddy kit.
