I'm thinking about getting a 2.5" exhaust. Do any of you have suggestions for a good QUIET cat-back? I heard that 2.5" are quiter than 3" and will get you into the 12s. I'm not planning on running faster than that in the next few years. I'll be lucky to be able to afford mods to get my car to the 12s in the next few years. But, back to the subject, I need a quiet (as close to stock as possible) catback. I know that's tough with the straight through mufflers, but do y'all have any suggestions?

The old school HKS Turbo exhaust is prob the quietest followed by the Greddy SP, they are both 60mm which is about 2 3/8 inch. Next get a 2.5" HF cat, 2.5" DP, 2.5" tubular O2 housing, and then a ported EVO exhaust manifold to finish off the exhaust. Hope this helps,

Mario

From what I've seen and heard, the Greddy is about the quietest. The Thermal seems to be about the growliest (is that a word?), then the Apex is about the loudest. Most of the ones I've heard have a testpipe and 2.5" downpipe on them.
