16G on a 100K motor?

Getting a used 16g for 200 bucks and already have a Supra TT fuel pump, 550s and a S-AFC not installed.
Would it be worth it to put on my motor with 108K on it?
All the mainenance has been done IE: timing belt, plugs , wires, fuel filter...
I probably won't take it to a dyno so I could just use some of the numbers that were on the S-AFC post a while back.
Also I want to keep the boost moderate but still make her scream when I want it too. What would be a good boost setting?

Mileage is not a problem, as long as the motor runs fine. My car did 12's on a 14b with 150k.

Go for it and install the SAFC and the 550's too. However, DO NOT try to tune with anyone else's numbers, and DO NOT try to tune with something like O2's or an EGT gauge. Buy a logger, it's one of the best investments you can make.

I'd say, with the 550's, you looking at like 16 psi or so, that would probably be decently fast but not too close to the raghged edge of tuning.

You certainly don't need a dyno to tune the car.

I wouldn't hesitate a bit. I put a 16g on at about 160k, and havn't had a single problem and pulls a lot harder. Just expect to burn up your stock clutch right away if you already havn't.

i had a green on my GST with 114k with no problems
put the turbo on the car, better late than never right?

I put a new 16g on a stock car at 124k miles and I am now at 125k miles and about ready for a 20g. I did shatter the stock clutch though... not sure if it had anything to do with the turbo though.
