Air/fuel gauge

I am getting two gauges to fill my gauge pod. One will be the boost and I was thinking an air/fuel gauge for the other. Is there anything special I have to have in the way of aftermarket parts in order to make the air/fuel gauge function? I still have my stock O2 sensor.

Forget the AF and go with an EGT if your only going to have 2. It will be better in the long run for tuning.

Agree with Wang. But on a side note... or the real question. It is easier to tune with an EGT. But AF meters have there place as well I like the Autometer phantoms there cheap there fairly accurate and super easy to hook up 1 wire from the ecu positive and ground and your all set. Yes it uses the stock 02 as well. Woman bent over in tights under the dash installing gauges. Hmmm what more could a man want.

Batgirl, I think you should get all the parts you need, although I am not 100% sure. It in doubt ask when you buy, any decent tuner should give you all the info you need. Personally, Alamomotorsports have always seemed to give me the right answers and quick email responses. Mutted has a point with the EGT, but you suggested earlier that you were not going to go too far with the mods at this stage so an air/fuel should make sure you are running good with what mods you have Installed.
I went with an Apexi EL gauge because I like the white face and blue glo, but the don't do an air fuel, only an EGT.

http://www.gaugepods.com/dsm.html do a nice pod that replaces the original interior body work for a smoother look as opposed to a stick on, I don't have one yet, but I have heard good things.
