1g mass air

how mcuh boost can you pull through a 1g mass air before you overrun it and need to get a 2g or a VPC or something. assume the aircan, silencer, and upper (?) honey comb have all been removed. Thx.

You should have removed the lower, not the upper honeycomb.... I have pushed 18-20 psi at the drag strip without any overrun.

The issue really isnt how much air you can flow through a 1g MAS. Right now I am flowing a lot of air and I am not experiencing any overrun you just have to keep the signal below 2200. To do this you have to hack the crap out of the MAS or add a breather tube and this will negatively effect your idle. So beware before you go too far.

Team rip engineering makes a plug in mass air thats tight as hell but there out of them right now if everyone e-mails them they might be more apt to get some in stock.
