Ok, here is the scenerio...
I have a 14b on my 2g.
I can't seem to control the boost from going to 20 psi, I just installed a profec-b because I figured the manual wasn't working...But it still over boosts, I set the controllers preliminary setting to over boost and still have no control of the boost. What could be the cause?

Mods include:
Thermal Cat-back
Dejon intake
Upper I/C pipes w/ Tial Bov

ive had this same problem with my t25. I fixed it by running my line to the turbo nipple instead of the BOV T. I was just told though to try running it to the intake manifold line. Let me know if this works.

It sounds like you're having boost creep. Did you port the turbine housing and wastegate passage? Porting your o2 housing will also help. Good luck.

with my t25, above 16 i'd start falling off. once I put on the 14b it got the same thing. set at 18 but at high rpm it'd climb to 20... fuel cut really freaked me out the first time. what mark said...porting, gotta do it.:thumb:

 I still don't know what the problem is I have checked and double checked everything...I am going to take it to the shop where I bought the boost controller from and see if I F'ed something up...I have my lines coming from the Intake manifold and the nipple from the waste gate, the only thing I wasn't sure on was the little air filter thing they give you and it doesn't really say which direction it is supposed to go, but I have tried both and nothing...

"If I could only control boost"...."If I only had a brain"....Sorry I have been singing that all weekend.

Side note: I would have killed my friends supercharged S2k if not for the problem...I put two cars on him off the line...gotta love it...then fuel cut in 3rd..man that sux and scared the piss out of me too...Thanks for the responses fella's, it's nice to know that someone out there beneath the pale moon light, is thinking of me...:shhh: Sorry I have movie tunes running through my head.

Air filter? WTF? What kind of MBC is this?

Run a line directly from the intake manifold (which port are you using?) to the wastegate actuator, and see what happens. That will tell you if you are getting creep or not.

Jesse, just because it's high does not necessarily mean it is not creep. With a ported turbine housing and O2 housing, I had creep to 24+ psi with the 3-inch exhaust.:barf:
