Running into install problem with my SAFC. You guys are probably the people to ask.

I'm installing a 60-1 T3/T4 next week (as soon as intercooler comes) on my 3g v6, but i'm trying to get this afc on and it's a bi***. I've ran all the wires except the airflow input and output. I looked at a how-to on installing a safc on a 3g and there's a discrepancy. The apexi manual says that the white should be ran from the sensor into the unit and yellow from the unit to the ECU. The how-to says you won't be using the white or yellow.

What is pink and orange for??

thanks

Pink and orange are for the air flow signal. they are connected to the 22 pin ecu plug. tap into the 3rd pin from the left side, should be a blue/yellow wire. you need to actually cut this wire in half. the part of the wire from the ecu is soldered to the pink afc wire. the part of the wire from the engine bay is connected to orange safc wire.
Hope this helps:thumb:

well i just read you have a 3g and who knows if the ecu pins are the same.do you know if the 3g uses a karman air flow system? if so, the procedur e will be the same. you just have to find the air/flow signal wire.
