HKS SSQV installation question?

Well, i just got done installing my HKS SSQV and sad to say its vented, but Im planning to purchase the recirc kit sooner or later, but right now no idle and stalling problems. I just wanted to know if i need to do any adjustments to it or is everything set once installed? thanks, Joe

You have to adjust it so that its not too tight or too loose. If its too tight when you shift it will make a cccchhh chhhh chhh sound. If its too loose it will leak boost.

SSQ can't leak boost, it's a pull type valve.

Right it won't leak but it could still be too tight so you get compressor surge when blowing-off at low boost.

No I never said the spring couldn't be too tight. Just that it can't leak boost
