am i stupid or could this work?

so i'm a budget racer and was reading some of the posts on water
injection. people are talking about using washer fluid for injection
because of it's methanol content and what not...... so wouldn't an
easy way to rig this up be getting a fine nozzle for the intake line
running it off your washer pump line to the intake, putting something
to restrict pressure and rig up a momentary switch for the motor ?
wi kit for like $20 bucks or am i just thinking too hard

It has to be a very fine mist! this has to be created by a really stong pump. Washer fluid pump wont work at all!

Can work if you make a regulator of some sort.

As -=TWITCH=- said, the water has to be injected on high pressure not less than 3 bar (42 psi) in order to get fine mist, this way you need a high pressure pump.

anything less and you hydrolock your motor and if you dont know what that is or what happens, you don't wanna know.

Somebody made a kit with a stock fuel pump and a nitrous selenoid.

just get a mist bottle and have someone stand on your hood and squirt that into your intake while you go down the 1320
