the only thing that I can see wrong with the turbonetics one is the placement of the wastegate its only on one runner the best situation would be to have it in the center like the one on victory performance's website. the wastgate mounts underneath in the center.

Having the wastegate venting from just the #1 runner in the Turbonetics T3 ex manifold doesn't effect much at all, in terms of boost. With just a small 35mm Tial I can lower the boost all the way down to 10-11 psi.

The biggest problem with the wastgate placement is that it hits a 1g hood pretty bad unless you reposition the WG.

I was wondering about that because I have a innovative wastegate that is substantialy (sp) longer than the tial and I was wondering if there was clearence inssues.

has anybody has clearance issues with the turbo clearing the block with the turbonetics manifold? I heard from one place that you need a spacer between the head and manifold to move it out 1/4 inch or so so that a 50trim t3/t4 will clear the block.

Anybody heard of this?

I have the manifold on my car with a t3t4 57 trim. the only problem i had was having to machine the corners of the manifold to clear the p/s pump. it works fine, turbo comes on around 3500

i have this manifold with a to4e comp and t31 turbine. with the comp outlet facing down i have absolutely no clearance issues. one of the stock waterlines was in the way, the bajo bolt hit the cover. i plugged that hole and everything is fine. the cover will hit the water line depending on how the cover faces, but you wouldn't use those angles anyways. the wastegate does not hit a 2g hood, so that's good. imo, it needs some port work before being bolted on. one runner in particular is very off center. i gasket matched the runners and collector. one runner in the collector is smaller than the others and it enters at an odd angle. it can be reshaped easily though. i've put maybe 5 hours of portwork into the manifold, and now i'm fairly happy with it. it is going to be jet hot coated inside and out soon, but i'm still fabbing pipes.

Im having a hard time understanding exactly what you mean here. Your saying one of the stock water lines that was attached to the stock turbo was in the way and the Bajo bolt hit the cover. Hit what cover and was in the way of what? When you pluged that hole what hole did you plug? a water hole meaning your running your turbo oil only or did you access water elsewhere? Then again you mention some cover will hit a water line depending on how it faces. Your going to have to let me know what cover your refering to here. Are you talking about the compressor housing?

Thats for this info, I will be doing that myself as well to make sure it's a good flowing manifold.

Turbonetics makes that manifold without the tap for the wastegate as well. Take the part number for the manifold, and add -1 to it. It's a non-drilled, non-tapped version. A lot of people like the SFP manifold; a friend of mine had problems with his but it could have just been a fluke. The T-netics one seems to get the job done well.
