Is 1g intercooler better than 2g intercooler?

The 1G intercooler is a little bigger and a little better. I am sure with some custom piping, if that is even needed, you could get it to mount up. Open up the inlet and outlet while you got it out. Add to the cooling. That or go FMIC

na dont waste your time 2g intercooler is way better than the ig one. if not happy get a supra SMIC that is a improvement!!!

yeah, 1g and 2g IC's are very simpilar. If you want a cheap upgrade, get a MKIV Supra IC. Also I think the starion IC is a waste of time. Its not a better IC then the 1G or 2G DSM IC. To really get a good IC, you need to put out the money for it.

a 1g w/ larger in/outs would be quite a bit better than a 2g... as it's about twice as thick. I personally think it'd be a waste of time & $$$ after you had larger in/outs welded on... hell I think starquest, mkiv, volvo, ect... are all a waste of time & $$$... by the time you get done w/ them you could have bought a real FMIC.

anyone know of a link to a similar thing for a SupraMKIV SMIC for a 1G?? Or is it the same as for a 2g?? I do see differences tho...

actually the 2g flows more then the 1g, i was thinking of doing this on my old 95. till i was given charts and stuff about it.

stick with the 2g, i ran 11's on it. {desperate need of a fmic}
