ok, here is the problem. the bolt that broke is broken in the block. we cannot get it drilled out, we have tried EVERY tool we could get our hands on. it is one of the bolts holding the halfshaft to the block. now, my question is, i have been told this could be welded.. but, if it is, then i won't be able to take out the transmission or pull the motor? i am trying to avoid having to pull the motor to drill out this bolt, as that is a lot of money.. quite a pain in the a$$.. any suggestions on how to fix this?

i gave you my ideas on the machv board, but i'll do it here too. if you can't drop the engine enough to get a good angle on the bolt, then you'd be much better off pulling the motor to drill it out. welding it is a bad idea.
