ive been trying to get ahold of tmo.com to send in my ecu and no one answers the phone or responds to email, anyone no why? thanx

Well as far as I know they do not respond to anyone, answer any phone calls or do any type of buisness. If they still actually go to some sort of shop and just hag out and drink beer and have the worst customer service known to man, then i guess they could still be in buisness...

Well, I also thought that they were pretty much out of it, but then I met someone who got a TMO modded ECU from them as recently as December. So I do not know they are managing it, but they are still around...

Also, I tried getting a hold Todd Day on the phone and got through to his partner who answered the phone "Technomotive". This was around 3 weeks ago. He said that Todd was not in yet... I haven't been able to get a hold of anyone else since then :(.

wow Im surprised you got a response. I called for about a month straight like 5 months ago and got no answer ever!!

If its the ECU that goes bad, buy a new stock one, and just swap out the TMO chip. Easy enough to do. They also replaced a cap and resistor on the circuit board, but thats only to make the needle on the factory boost gauge move quicker.

I have heard of other people offering chips for the 1G that remove fuel cut or adjust limits. I dont know of any that were as comprehensive as the tmo setup, but the basic stuff is available. And you could always copy a tmo chip. If they arent in business anymore, there would be nothing wrong with doing that.

I had bad service from tmo when I bought my 2G chip from them a couple years ago. I paid them with a check, then they kept procrastinating on sending me the chip(I did my own install), telling me it was in the mail etc. I sold the tmo stuff as soon as dsmlink was available. Much better support.
