Exactly what he said . We cant help you if you dont provide us with enough info. Now if your friend is refering to a ford powerstroke (Deisel) intercooler then no , not in its stock form . It will need to be cut down and have new end tanks welded to it . I have seen a few people use them , and it seems to involve a lot of work . I myself have access to a few powesrtoke intercoolers but I am debating all the work that is involved .

i just found out that the intercooler is from a powerstroke deisel.

i dont want to sound stupid but why wouldnt the intercooler work on my car, i know its from a deisel, but still. i thought an intercooler is just an intercooler.

and how would i be able to make the intercooler work on my car, is there a website that tells me how to change it so i can make it work?

thanx,
John

the powerstroke ICs are enormous and normally need to be cut in half or thirds. you said it was the same size FMIC as we generally use on our cars...do u have any dimensions? if it fits and you can make some piping for it there is no reason it wont work. but generally these are enormous intercoolers and the endtanks are in the wrong spots. ;)

and here is another thread that might help you also.http://www.dsmtuners.com/forums/showthread.php?s=&threadid=39973

ok since you have not told us about the size.. im guessing as long as it will fit and you can get the pipe/hose fitings to...fit then you should be able to use it.. might be hard to mount though..
