Hp Estimate

Currently I have some mods on my 1G tsi awd talon. I have everything setup for a turbo - engine is rebuilt. i'm going to be ordering my turbo very soon. all i have to do now is order my turbo kit and bolt it on. i just wanted to ask an hp estimate of how much hp my car will make with my supporting mods plus the Rocket Alpha turbo. and i also wanted to ask if they make it for the 1G DSMs.

My mods list:

ACT 2600 clutch
Buschur exhuast
Extreme Upper intercooler piping
Extreme 3" downpipe
APEX S-AFC
Ross forged pistons
Crower forged rods
HKS 264 cams
Hallman manual boost controller set at 18psi
HKS turbo timer
Rocket Alpha turbo (will be ordering soon)
Buschur FM intercooler kit (will be ordering soon)
walbro fuel pump (will be ordering soon)

am i going to be in the 400hp range with these mods?

oh and i forgot to mention the GReddy Type S BOV and the 650cc injectors that i will also be ordering sooon.

could someone please just give me an estimate, i wanna know what kind of power i'm going to be making with these mods so i can go ahead and order the kit.

well I'm no tunner but I would say that you should be easily in the 300 hp, 400 hp with tunning. Hope this settles your mind a little.

yeah, like around 300 to 350...probably even more.

There is no sure fire way to tell how much power your making unless you A take it to a dyno or B take it to the track. There is a formula that will give you an estimated value based on your total weight, ET or trap MPH. Here is the site for the calculations http://www.dsm.org/tools/calchp.htm

Wheres the 660 injectors and ext WG and porting or manifold..and o2 housing..?at 18 psi, i'd say realistically 300 whp...at like 29 psi (on race gas) on that size turbo, i'd say 420-450+ whp.

i wrote down the list on top of my head so i obviously forgot some (wastegate/manifold/o2 housing).

i'd only make 300?
at the MachV site, it had a chart comparing turbos. for the rocket alpha, it said 400hp and its efficiency is at 16-22psi.

Thank you. You can have the biggest of whatever, and not make 300HP. You want power, start with what mikeydsm said.
